会場:全日程、Zoom等によるメディア授業で実施。ご自宅からご参加いただけます。

備考:各自、メディア媒体の準備(PCからの参加を推奨します)、および、安定したインタ
    ーネット環境の確保をお願いします。
    上記日程の他、オンラインオリエンテーション授業を実施します。

<注意事項>
既に行われた「International Career Seminar」「国際実務英語」「国際実務英語Ⅰ」「国際実務英語Ⅱ」を履修し単位を取得した宇都宮大学の学生は、今回履修しても単位が重複して付与されることはありません。

Time for us to Move On!? ̶ Hints to Take International Action
講師:Kazuhiko YOSHIDA, Ph.D. 吉田 一彦 氏
(宇都宮大学国際学部 准教授)

The lecture discusses cases of multilingual communication and multicultural collaborative activities in international communities, based on the lecturer’s own experience. Through the discussions, students will notice themselves tips to be applied in their work-group sessions and in their real lives.

<プロフィール>
Kazuhiko YOSHIDA, descendant of Emishi and Yamato from Northern Honshu, Japan, is the chairperson of the International Career Education Committee and a professor teaching linguistics and multilingual communication at the School of International Studies, Utsunomiya University, as well as a non-professional bass player. Although he has lived in France, Pakistan and Thailand besides Japan, he has visited over 30 countries and worked with people of a hundred different nationalities. He is consistently amazed and inspired by the diversity of the world.

分科会A:Make It Up / Make It Happen:
      Collaboratively Creating an Original Future
講師:Gregory WOLF グレゴリー ウルフ  氏
(Youth Theatre Japan)

How do we, from zero, imagine and launch bridge-building, barrier-smashing, people-empowering new projects? In this course we take a global-minded approach to creativity(art, design, entrepreneurship, activism, etc.), explore useful concepts, and brainstorm your ideas.

<プロフィール>
Gregory Wolf is a teaching artist, songwriter, and project manager at Youth Theatre Japan, an 18-year old startup that creates new value in the areas of education and entertainment. Gregory holds a BA in theatre and has studied, written, directed, and appeared onstage throughout Japan and the United States. His work focuses on engaging children and adults in questions of identity, diversity, and the personal, social, and political change necessary to overcome conceptions of “otherness.”

分科会B:Learning from Yesterday, For Safer Tomorrow; Skills Required in the Age of New Normal
講師:Takeshi KOMINO  小美野 剛 氏
(CWS Japan 事務局長)

This course explores the evolution of the disaster risk reduction field, as well as the critical skills required in this ever prone disaster time of our lives; the New Normal. We will explore learning from experience and discover strengths to be derived from each student's participation in the dynamics of their hometown.

General Secretary of CWS Japan, and Co-chairperson of Japan Platform. Also serves as deputy chairperson and a member of Executive Committee for Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network(ADRRN)and joint secretariat of Japan CSO Coalition for DRR(JCC-DRR). He graduated from Doshisha University, and holds Development Studies M.A. from Brandeis University.

分科会C:Multidisciplinary Approach in Field-based Studies
講師:Tatsuhiro OHKUBO, Dr.Agric. 大久保 達弘 氏
(宇都宮大学 農学部 森林科学科 教授)

The aim of this session is to discuss about the concept of research building, the necessary skills and its application in field-based studies, especially those based on a multidisciplinary approach to solve complex issues on sustainable land use and natural resource management that are of common interest for the participants from various backgrounds and disciplines.

His current research interest is on the "Effects of natural and anthropogenic disturbance on pattern and process of regeneration resilience in Tropical Forests of South East Asia(Sarawak/Malaysia, Northern Thailand, South China)and Temperate Deciduous Forests in East Asia(Japan and Korea)". He was a former director of Satoyama Science Center of the School of Agriculture, UU. The discussion with the participants will focus on mutual interests in field studies, especially in rural and mountainous regions in Southeast and East Asia.

分科会D:Maximizing Individual Choice and Capabilities by Building Transnational Careers
講師:Ana SUEYOSHI, M. Phil. スエヨシ アナ 氏
(宇都宮大学 国際学部 准教授)

The mobility of Japan born/raised Peruvians between Japan and Peru expands their range of choices as it allows them to take advantage of employment, education and investment opportunities in both countries. The discussion will be focused on capability building and how it leads to the creation of authentic freedom to choose meaningful careers and lives that the Japan born/raised Peruvians value.

Prior to taking my current position, I worked as researcher, economic consultant and economic advisor in Peru. After my studies at the Graduate School of International Political Economy(GSIPE), Tsukuba University, Japan, I joined the School of International Studies, Utsunomiya University, where I am in charge of Latin American Studies. My research interests include Latin American economy, the link between higher education and employability in the APEC region, and Nikkei workers in Japan and Nikkei returnee children in their homeland.

講師:Bernadett KISS, Ph.D. バーナデット キッシュ 氏

Finding your 'life call' is not always straightforward, you might require support along the way. In this session, we explore personal strengths, reflect on individual preferences and see how these can contribute to career dreams, well-being and the planet's sustainability.

<プロフィール>
My career has followed a winding trail across a variety of landscapes, countries, disciplines and professions. While the destination has not always been clear, certain interests and values have carved my path and given me plenty of life experience. In the past 20 years, I have worked in different multicultural environments with a variety of actors in the field of communication, human resources and environmental project management. Today I am an environmental researcher, and, who knows what tomorrow brings.

分科会F:Human Security Paradigm:Partnership in Non-traditional Security Issues
講師:Sugit ARJON, Ph.D. スギット アルジョン 氏

元立命館大学国際地域研究所 客員研究員)

This course aims to advance students' knowledge about collaborations and partnerships in non-traditional security issues. Students are expected to be familiar with the concept of non-traditional security, key actors, and current practice. In the process, students will understand career development in non-traditional security career paths.

<プロフィール>
Sugit Arjon is an Assistant Professor in Global Governance, the School of International Studies, Utsunomiya University. He specialises in the political dynamics in the post-conflict region. His research focuses on democratisation, state violence, security,political dynasty, and civil-military relations in the Southeast Asia region and specifically in Indonesia. Before working in academia, he has professional experience in high-level policymaking with the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia and the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
